Merchant Dashboard

Variant confusion detector for the Ecwid admin.

This app scans your catalog structure inside the Ecwid dashboard and highlights products whose option trees are most likely to confuse shoppers. It does not track visitors, does not require your own database, and does not depend on a custom Node.js backend.

Getting started

How to use Variant Confusion Detector

1
Install and open inside Ecwid admin

This app runs as an Ecwid admin page. After installing from the App Market, open it from your admin menu. It connects to your store automatically — no database or paid services needed.

2
Your catalog is scanned automatically

Once connected, the app reads your products and scores each one for variant confusion: too many combinations, vague option labels, or fragmented stock.

3
Review the priority table

Products are ranked by risk score. The table shows which items need attention first, what the problems are, and what action to take.

4
Export a CSV report

Download a spreadsheet of flagged products to share with your team or keep as a catalog audit record.

UI preview

Preview the dashboard with fake merchant data.

This is the main demo button. Click it to simulate a realistic Ecwid merchant catalog before connecting a live store.

Scan scope

Keep the scan capped so the dashboard stays fast on larger catalogs.

Risk threshold

Only show products at or above this score in the priority table and CSV export.

Actions

Add your Ecwid app ID and open this page inside the Ecwid admin iframe to scan a live store.
